Alert not sent occurs if there was a seizure detected, but Embrace was not able to send the alert due to the following reasons:
- Bluetooth disconnection: Embrace wasn’t connected to the paired smartphone so it couldn’t send the Alert. See: Embrace Disconnections
- No internet connection: The paired smartphone wasn’t connected to the Internet and therefore the Alert App wasn’t able to send the Alert calls and SMS. Please see: How Embrace works
- No added/activated caregivers. Please see: Adding caregivers
Beyond this, we ask that Caregivers save the alert number to avoid any calls being blocked by their cellular service carrier. The alert number is: 1 (415) 498- 1544.
