Once you’ve completed your EpiMonitor pack purchase, you need to create an EpiMonitor account.
If you previously owned or still own an Embrace2, your old login credentials and subscription will not work with EpiMonitor.
A Legal Guardian will be required if the user is under 13 years old (
US, 
Canada), under 16 years old (
Australia, 
New Zealand), or under 18 years old (
Europe), or when the user of the device requires support to complete the process and use the system. For more information on what a Legal Guardian is and how it is managed within EpiMonitor, please refer to this article: Legal Guardian
We recommend creating an account only after placing an order.
US users : you can upload your prescription only after the purchase. Additionally, we do not bill directly to insurance companies and do not accept orders through prescriptions. For more details, please visit: Insurance reimbursement for EpiMonitor
Select one of the options below for the steps to set up your EpiMonitor account.
After completing your purchase, you’ll be redirected to a page stating, Your order is currently on hold for your prescription. You can upload your prescription only after creating an account. Click Create an Account to proceed.
If you closed the account creation page, check your email inbox for a message titled Thank you for your order. Open the email and click Link your order to proceed.
Next, you'll need to agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Check the box to read and accept the terms before proceeding.
Make sure to review the document and check both required boxes before clicking Continue to Registration.
You will now be asked to choose an email and password for the account. This account will be the one used to log into the EpiMonitor App on the smartphone of the person to be monitored.
The email address associated with this account may differ from the one used to purchase EpiMonitor.
While the subscription will be linked to the EpiMonitor user profile you are currently setting up, please note that if the email address you use differs from the one used for the purchase, subscription management privileges will only be accessible to the buyer and not to the designated EpiMonitor user.

Your password must be at least 12 characters long and include at least three of the following:
- Lowercase letters (a-z)
- Uppercase letters (A-Z)
- Numbers (0-9)
- Special characters (e.g., !@#$%^&*)
Once your password meets these criteria, click Continue.
You will receive a verification email to activate your account. If you don’t see it in your inbox, please check your spam or junk folder. To ensure you receive our emails, consider adding support@empatica.com to your trusted contacts.
If you haven’t received the email, you can:
- Click Resend on the browser page.
- Select Create a new account if you prefer to use a different email address.
Open the email and click Activate Your Account to complete the verification process.
You’ll be redirected to a page to select your preferred language. Choose your language and click Continue.
For the next steps, select one of the following options:
Select Myself if you’re the one who needs seizure monitoring and going through the configuration on your own.
You’ll be prompted to enter your personal information. Fill out the form with all required details, ensuring that your name and date of birth match the prescription.
Now
your account is created and you should be able to
log into your EpiMonitor account by going to
EpiMonitor.empatica.com.

Select Someone I take care of
and click Continue.
Next, you will be asked if you are the user’s legal guardian.
- Select 'Yes' if you are the Legal Guardian of the EpiMonitor user. You will be prompted to enter your personal information and the EpiMonitor user’s information.
- Select 'No' if you are not the Legal Guardian but are setting up the system for the user. You will be asked to input the personal information of both the legal guardian and the EpiMonitor user. The selected legal guardian will receive an email to consent to their role.
- Select 'They don’t have a legal guardian' to indicate the user is over 13 years old and does not have a legal guardian. You will then enter the personal information of the EpiMonitor user to complete the profile creation.
Fill out the form with all required details, ensuring that the user’s name and date of birth match the prescription.
Select the checkbox to indicate your agreement
with our Privacy Policy, then click 'Complete Profile'
to proceed.
Now
your account is created and you should be able
to log into your EpiMonitor account by going
to
EpiMonitor.empatica.com.
