Embrace2’s sensors measure the following physiological parameters:
- Electrodermal Activity: (EDA, also known as skin conductance) - measures variations of the electrical conductance of the skin. EDA is a measure of the autonomic nervous system (ANS) arousal and reflects strong emotional states such as fear, anxiety, anger, and positive excitement.
- Motion: measured by a 3-axis accelerometer.
- Skin surface temperature: measured by a Peripheral Temperature Sensor.
