Understanding your Plan

Where the Care App and Care Portal are mentioned, the articles in the Support Center refer to both the professional Plan (Care Lab App and Care Lab Portal) and the enterprise Plan (Care App and Care Portal), unless indicated otherwise.

The availability of Care Portal access on enterprise is defined by the study configuration. For further information on your study configuration, talk to your Study team or account manager.

Available Plans: Professional and Enterprise

The Empatica Health Monitoring Platform is an FDA-cleared modular remote health monitoring platform that provides a full-stack product suite to healthcare and research professionals. The Platform can be purchased with two different plans: professional or enterprise

 

The two Plans differ, and are tailored to meet specific research needs.

 

professional
Designed with smaller research studies in mind. For example, an academic study that does not require dedicated Account Manager support.

 

enterprise
Best suited for large-scale clinical trials, with a wide range of dedicated services through Empatica. For example, a clinical trial that requires one-on-one support with IRB submissions, audit trails, and custom materials for global studies. Speak with our Sales Team to determine if you are a good fit for our Enterprise Plan.

 

Depending on your Plan, you will have access to different Portal Features, Data services, and Support Services.

 

Key Differences between the Professional and Enterprise Plans:

Includes access to the Care App, Care Portal, and Empatica Cloud.

Portal Features:

Included in the Empatica Health Monitoring is a webpage software, called the Care Portal, which allows research staff members to actively manage and monitor their study and participants. Depending on your plan, the setup of the Care Portal will be optimized for your research needs.

 

professional
You can create your own Care Lab Portal account with 1 Study, 1 Site, and up to 1000 participants. You will have the option to view multiple digital biomarker visualization graphs.

 

enterprise
A dedicated Account Manager and Support Team will assist directly with the setup of the Care Portal. The number of studies, sites, and participants is unlimited. Your study team will have the option to view multiple digital biomarker visualization graphs.

You will gain access to our standard suite of raw data and digital biomarkers. The available sensor mode* is Pulse Rate Pro.

 

enterprise
You will gain access to our complete suite of raw data and digital biomarkers. You will also have the option to access Reports. The available sensor modes* are Pulse Rate Pro, SpO2 Pro, and Actigraphy Pro, and Actigraphy Optimized.
