Updating your billing details

If you have to make any changes to your payment methods or your personal billing information, you can update your details by going to the Subscription widget of your EpiMonitor account.

If the email address for your EpiMonitor account is different than that of the Epimonitor purchaser, you will see the button ‘Learn how to manage subscription’ in the Subscription widget of your EpiMonitor dashboard. In this case, please refer to this article: Manage EpiMonitor subscription on behalf of the EpiMonitor user

Click on ‘Manage subscription’ and you will be redirected to Stripe, our subscription management partner.

From here, you can perform any of the following actions:


Add a payment method

To keep the subscription active, you will need at least one valid payment method on file. We accept most major debit/credit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and US bank accounts.

  1. Add a new payment method by clicking on ‘Add payment method’.

  2. Choose one of the available payment methods and fill in all the necessary information.

    By continuing, you allow Empatica to charge the chosen payment method for future payments in accordance with their terms.

  3. Click ‘Add’ and you will find the new payment method added to the main page of your subscription dashboard.
Choose a default payment method
  1. Click on the 3 dots next to your preferred payment method.

  2. Click ‘Make default’, and all future subscription renewals will automatically be charged on the chosen payment method.
Delete a payment method
  1. Click on the 3 dots next to your preferred payment method.

  2. Click ‘Delete’ and the chosen payment method will be removed.


Change your billing information
  1. Click ‘Update information’ under the Billing Information section.
  2. Fill in the fields with your name, email, and billing address.

    Changing the email address under the billing information will change the subscription management ownership to the indicated email address. Changing the email will not transfer the subscription to another EpiMonitor account, but will change who can manage the subscription plan associated with the EpiMonitor user.

    As the buyer of EpiMonitor, you will have the right to manage the subscription, even if the EpiMonitor account’s email address is different from yours. Then, you have the option to change the subscription management rights to the email address of the EpiMonitor user by changing the email in this section.

  3. Click ‘Save’ and your billing information is updated.
