Proper Handling of EmbracePlus

The EmbracePlus silicone band contains wires that connect the electrodermal electrodes
from the ventral wrist to the EmbracePlus pod. These wires are flexible but may be
damaged with rough handling.

In order to ensure that EmbracePlus continues to collect accurate EDA data, we suggest the
following best practices:

  • Avoid Excessive Bending and Twisting
    • Repeatedly bending or twisting the band can stress internal wires, leading to
      breakage
    • Be gentle when putting on or removing EmbracePlus
  • Do Not Stretch the Band Excessively
    • Bands have embedded wires that can break if stretched beyond their designed
      limit
  • Store the Watch Properly
    • Avoid folding or tightly coiling the band when not in use
    • Store the watch flat or in a case with its natural shape maintained.
