“No data recorded” message in the Mate App - Research

You'll see the No data recorded message in the Mate App if you didn't wear Embrace on that specific day (thus Embrace didn’t record your physiological signals),  so there's no data to display.

If you did wear your Embrace on that specific day, but the Mate App still says No data recorded, please check the following:

1. Swipe down from the center of the wheel: this will refresh the displayed information.

2. Make sure that the Embrace memory is not full. To check the  Embrace memory status, go to the Mate App > Embrace icon (top right) > Embrace Memory. If Embrace Light & Vibration is enabled, the watch  will also display a Yellow Cross on its surface when its memory is full. To free up your Embrace memory, check: Yellow Cross / Memory Full

Every 10% of occupied memory space corresponds to a little more than an hour of recorded data. So if Embrace memory is at 50%, this means you still have to upload around 5 hours of recorded data.

Data upload is automatic - just place your Embrace watch close to the paired smartphone (with internet access) and make sure the two devices are connected via Bluetooth. Please note that it can take up to 2 hours to transfer all the data from your Embrace watch to your smartphone.

3. Make sure there is no data to be uploaded from your smartphone to the cloud. You can check this by going to the Mate App > Embrace icon (top right) > My Embrace Page > Data Stored in App.

If there is any pending data, make sure to upload them - the process is automatic - just activate internet access on your smartphone (cellular data or WiFi connection).

If Data Stored in App says Nothing to upload, it means you are all set.

If you wore Embrace on a specific day, Embrace memory isn't full, Data Stored in App says “Nothing to upload”, and you still cannot see data in the Mate App, force the Mate App to close (iOS, Android) and relaunch it.

Please note that when viewing your data for the first time, it can take up to one hour for the data from your Embrace to sync up with the Mate App.  You can find more information about data visualization issues here:
