Synchronizing Embrace2 data

To synchronize the data from Embrace2 with other research instruments, it is important to understand how time is registered on Embrace and in the raw data.

Embrace2 data is synchronized with the time on the paired device. Exported Sensors data contains detailed information on the session’s start date and time, with each row of data containing a UTC timestamp in milliseconds. The output will be the same, regardless of the timezone setting in the Research Portal. These timestamps can be aligned against other devices’ timestamps. You can also use synchronous motion to help sync to other instruments.

It is possible to mark seizures/autonomic arousal/custom events in the Mate App, which will be reflected in the Event Reports in the Research Portal.
