This article is only applicable to individuals who have purchased the EmbracePlus with the stretchable band. Please note, the EmbracePlus with the silicone band cannot have the band replaced due to its integrated sensors. Please refer to the picture below:

If you would like to wash your band or switch it out with a new one, you can easily remove it from the watch by following the steps shown in the video or the steps below.

To remove the EmbracePlus band:

  1. Insert the spring bar removal tool between the watch band and watch shoulders.
  2. Apply pressure on the tool towards the band until it releases.
  3. Slide out the band, and repeat the process on the other side.

  3. Compress the spring bar to fit in the opposite hole, then release.

Please note that the spring bar removal tool is only included with the purchase of an additional band, it is not provided with the EmbracePlus purchase and we do not sell the tool separately. If you do not own a spring bar removal tool, you can find one in any physical and online watch store or you can follow the above steps using your fingernails to compress the spring.

The spring bar removal tool is a choking hazard, and should be kept out of reach of small children.
