Why are “Alerts Not Sent”?

Alert not sent” occurs if there was an unusual event detected, but Embrace was not able to send the alert due to the following reasons:

  1. Bluetooth disconnection: Embrace is not connected with the paired phone but In this situation in case of reconnection Embrace will continue trying to send the alert for up to one minute if a reconnection happens. If a minute passes after the seizure detection, the alert is not delivered but it’s stored in the Alert app recent alerts list. See: Why Does my Embrace keep Disconnecting?
  2. No internet connection: In this situation, your Embrace has correctly sent the alert to the Alert app that will continue trying to send the alert for up to one minute. If the data connection is not restored within one minute, the Alert would not be fired. Please see: How does Embrace work?
  3. No caregivers inserted or enabled. Please see: How do I add my caregivers?
