What is required to report as a participant

Updated:

As a participant or parent of a participant we’ll ask that you report:

  • True Detection: Confirm if you have a Generalized Tonic Clonic seizure (aka “Grand Mal” or “shaking seizure”) and the system reports it correctly.
  • False Alarm: Tell us if the system reports that you have a seizure when you do not (this might happen if you are dancing, riding a bike, or exercising).
  • Missed Detection: Tell us if you have a Generalized Tonic Clonic seizure (aka “Grand Mal” or “shaking seizure”) and the system does not report it. You can do this via the Mate App by tapping the seizure icon at the bottom of the screen.

Reporting the above should take only seconds per week.
