We know it’s comforting to hear a reassuring voice on the other end of the line. It’s a nice feeling, but not necessarily the best way to quickly answer questions that are largely technology based.
For example, phone calls don’t allow us to easily store details that we can use for future reference. Having something in writing ensures that nothing is lost amongst our team members and if we need to get a developer involved, all it takes is a simple click. Sending out links, screenshots, and videos is also a feature that phones can’t afford.
All in all, our goal is that you are responded to quickly and efficiently, so that you can carry on with the rest of your day, and so far we haven’t found that phones are so great in accomplishing this. Instead we prefer to take the online route by enriching our knowledge base so that you can help yourself, and if that doesn’t do the trick, then submitting a request or emailing us for a quick solution at firstname.lastname@example.org.
